The perfect way to start your day is at Alpina Cafe. Alpina is a place where the locals gather and say good morning and are very welcoming to guests visiting South Shore. Have a great cup of joe. The choices are broad including organic options for those of you conscience about what goes into your temples. A wonderful selection of teas is available to choose from if tea is your bag. Smoothies, lite morning fare are also available to those you need more than jolt in the AM. Sandwiches and other appetizing items are offered throughout the day. At the Alpina Cafe, internet is free so whatever news CNN, MSNBC or Fox has to report you can get the latest or send the report needing to be delivered by the morning hours. Saying Good Morning at 6AM and saying Good Afternoon at 5PM - the Alpina Cafe is located at 822 Emerald Bay Road.

Lunch

If you are in the mood to break from your day of outdoor activities - go to Riva Grill Restaurant - If you enjoy boating and the experience of elegant yet fun in spirit boats - you will enjoy the atmosphere at Riva's - the menu has delectable items to choose from as well as a bar for those who wish to enjoy a Wet Woody (registered trademark)while taking in the scene and sharing times with new and old friends! Dinner

Bistro Danielle is the topper in cuisine to a Perfect Day! Leslie Irwin runs the Bistro named after her daughter as the best run French / Italian bistros in France / Italy. Wines from the Sonoma and Napa Valleys - you'll want to have a car / cab waiting for you when you are finished with the most wonderful dining and wining experience.

What to Do...

Morning

A\'Perfect Day\' can be any season in Lake Tahoe. In the summer it is wake boarding and hiking and / or horseback riding. Truly, there is more to do and whatever your fancy - you will be invigorated by what you choose to do that makes your heart soar! In the winter the morning activities for me are a run and then snow boarding - although there are many things to do so be prepared to choose!

Afternoon

In the afternoon whether you are in Lake Tahoe during the spring, summer, fall or winter - the galleries are a place to see beautiful and inspiring works of art! You may even want to paint or write yourself in the afternoon!

Evening

Evenings are for all to enjoy the peacefulness of the lake and the mountains. Enjoy your friends and family at dinner at Bistro Danielle's.
